This dramatic coastal trail follows the rugged southwestern coastline, connecting El Golfo village with Los Hervideros through some of Lanzarote's most spectacular volcanic landscapes. The route offers constantly changing perspectives of cliffs, lava formations, and the Atlantic Ocean.

The trail passes the Charco de los Clicos (Green Lagoon) from elevated viewpoints, providing stunning panoramas of the emerald water contrasting with black sand and volcanic rock. The path continues along clifftops with dramatic drop-offs to the churning ocean below.

Rocky terrain and volcanic formations create an otherworldly hiking experience. The black lava cliffs, worn smooth by centuries of wave action, contrast sharply with the white foam of Atlantic breakers. The raw power of nature is evident throughout the route.

The hike offers solitude and photographic opportunities away from main tourist paths. Sunrise and sunset provide particularly dramatic lighting. The trail requires moderate fitness and proper footwear due to uneven rocky surfaces. Stay well back from cliff edges.
